After a looooooong ten day wait, I picked up my Super Nova Benelli Shot gun and a lot of ammo ( to me). I tell you what, after assembling the barrel and playing with loading and unloading, I NEED a good class, and that's my next big investment! A DAMN GOOD CLASS! Pictures below:

I skipped the whole "pump-action" thing, and got one of these before they became so scarce.........

(also, my "man-boobs" are bigger than yours.)

I bough one of those without the pistol grip a couple of months back. First step, take the plug out of the follower spring to increase capacity from 3 to 5 rounds. Time required is about 30 seconds. Step 2, get a tube extender (cost about $28) to increase capacity to 7 rounds. Picture of mine with extended tube below.

At first get used to the gun using 2-3/4 field loads before you try 3" buckshot or slug rounds. The big ones are gonna kick some, if you're not used to this, work up to it.

Shoot a box or two (@ 25 rounds each) of 2-3/4, #8 shot. They are cheap and will give you a feel for the gun. If you're an experienced shotgunner, pardon me.

Nice Tom,

Hell I've been wondering how to increase my rounds. Is there a guide for removing the plug out of the follower spring. I'm pretty gun ignorant , but learning as much as I can. Even with the terminology I'm ignorant. Would know a plug spring if it bit me on my ass. Hand guns have been easier for me to field strip clean, and learn. Rifles and shot guns are a different story. Any books you recommend on disassembly and assembly of guns. Also want to add the tube extension, thought it would cost a fortune or a gunsmith would charge a fortune. Help! I want the extra capacity. Seriously important.

I tried a pistol grip on my Mossberg for a while, but it just seems "unwieldy". Took it off and put the original stock back on and put the pistol grip in the closet.

Ha! ha!

It's for the Springfield XD my friend bought me. .45 ACP. I've been buying a lot of different hollow points. Wanna see what cycles through my gun best. BUt I really think I may go to cheap economy hollow points ( Winchester) or just go with ball FMJ as Mtn Man was saying, it's really all about shot placement. But I don't think it hurts to have some hollow points around. As soon as I get my SKS, it will be all about training for my fire arms and ammo and reloading. That's all!

Hey SilverSalom,

Does that Benelli have ghost sights on it? I'm trying to figure out if I want the bead sight or ghost sight. I have no idea since i have shotgunning experience.

I was thinking that too, but if/when you need slugs there are better tools for the job.

Have you figure out how to take the plug out yet? It's really simple and in the manual, page 22. You will need to buy one tool, inside (not outside) snap ring pliers, they will cost maybe $5-$6. The manuals says it is possible to use needle nose, maybe but that would be pretty hard to do with that ring. With the pliers, it took me less than a minute. You just unscrew the metal cap at the end of the round magazine and there is the snap ring. With the right tool (shown below) very easy.

If you need further help, PM me.

Sweet as* Ghost sights, this thing is awesome to site up. It's easier to site than my Springfield XD. I've been doing a lot of dry fire excercises. Love these damn ghost sights, freakin awesome, at least to me.
